Recognizing the 1st Katrina Anniversary

Interfaith Prayer Service
The Archdiocese of New Orleans will hold an ecumenical prayer service from 7-8 pm on August 29 at St. Louis Cathedral on Jackson Square hosted by Archbishop Hughes.  The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra will play in Jackson Square from 8:00-8:55, and at 8:55, the Katrina bell (twin to the 9/11 bell in New York City) will be rung to commemorate the lives lost in Katrina.
