Tulane Commencement Coverage in Summer 2006 Tulanian

tulanian cover_reduced.jpgTulanian Magazine, in its Summer 2006 issue has some nice coverage from Tulane University's historic 2006 Commencement Ceremony.  The article is complete with touching images from the ceremony.  Here's what writer Arthur Nead had to say concerning Jep's performance ...

Standing out this year was singer/composer Jep Epstein's performance of his original composition, "Our Home, Louisiana", a ballad recognizing the courage of Louisianans in the face of hardship.  Epstein accompanied himself on the piano in a soulful musical statement backed up by Michael White's orchestra.

"Signs Amid The Rubble" Pre-Release Announcement

Within the next several weeks, Signs Amid The Rubble will be released.  "You may ask yourself, where does that highway go to?"; and then, you may ask yourself, "What is Signs Amid The Rubble?"  The answer?

It is a cd being released by Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New Orleans.  The resident Redeemer musicians, including Rebecca Barry, Brent Rose, and Jep have recorded a selection of hymns which are often sung by the congregation at Redeemer.  Drummer extrordinaire, Chris Davis, sat behind the kit.  This is a novel arrangement of hymns.

Stay tuned for purchase info ...
